Halo 5: Guardians - Forerunner Gateway

I was the VFX Lead for the Forerunner Campaign Missions on Halo 5. I set up and designed all effects and related texture sets for the Forerunner Gateway sequence. Created all energy portal elements and 3D geometry meshes, including energy buildup on inside and outside of rings, upward energy pull from rings, center energy beam elements and energy data steaks, energy pulses into sky, energy nozzle on base, lens flares, portal opening and distortion, cloud opening and portal energy elements, and upper atmosphere cloud flashes.

The overall skybox and upper cloud layers were created by another artist.
